All photos uploaded to the Trade Me site have a kiwi Watermark added on the bottom right corner. This provides a permanent identifier on the image and prevents your images being stolen by others and used elsewhere. When uploading a photo you also have the option to add your username and feedback rating to your photos. Your username will not be added if your photo is not wide enough to fit it – this is something determined by TradeMe.
In Auctionitis this is a default setting that will apply across all photo’s loaded to TradeMe. This can be accessed in the File > Options > Processing Tab.
QuickTip: If you find that the feedback number on your photo’s on TradeMe is out of date, provided your pictures are all on your PC in the correct directories that you originally told Auctionitis they were in, using the ‘delete all pictures’ the ‘load pics’ will reload all your pics to Trade Me with a new feedback rating. These will be applied to auctions as they are relisted or listed again and will not affect any current/sold/unsold listings.
It’s a good idea to update the feedback rating on photographs regularly – it would be off putting to a potential buyer to see an item listed with a picutre with a feedback rating of 500 when you’re now on 5000!
